Tree fallen in storm at IIT Kanpur

This tree fell when the storm blew on the early hours of 07 March 2018. 

This is near BSBE (Bio Sciences and Biological Engineering) department on IIT Kanpur campus. 

The soil in this area is very soft. Therefore, tall and heavy trees do not usually survive the effects of heavy storms.

The roots of the tree are very soft and have not gone too deep into the ground.
